This unsymmetrical rear extension for a locally listed Georgian House stands in the Borough High Street Conservation area. It consists in a semi-transparent new room where an up and over glass brings abundant natural light inside the entire ground floor. The aim was to balance contemporary elements within the existing feature of the house

Materials and calm colours palette played a very important role to produce a delicate contemporary design within a conservationist approach.
